This year, I hope to give back to PASA all of which it has given to me. Being Vice President is such an honor because my projects for the year are all things that really resonate with my personality and my values as a person. One new thing that we are bringing to PASA this year is the application of the Academics Program! With this, I am hoping to help our members succeed in their academics because in order to play hard, you must also work hard. I am also hoping that through this program PASA would be able to offer scholarships as well different career networks to our members. Another one of my projects this year is to plan our annual charity showcase, PASAlubong! Giving back to the community is a very important value of mine and with this project I am hoping to give back generously to the charity organization that we choose. Another one of my bigger goals this year is to really just inspire our members the way that PASA has inspired me. I hope that through teaching about our five pillars, which are education, leadership, community, culture, and fellowship, our members will feel passionate to better themselves and their community, as well as be compelled to share their love of PASA to the future legacies of our organization <3

I am a third year at CSUEB this year and I am pursuing a major in Biology (option in microbiology) and hopefully planning on becoming a nurse after getting my degree! I really enjoy meeting new people and learning new things, whether it be about my filipino culture or just life in general -- both of which PASA provides to its members! I have been in PASA since my first year of college and it has been such a journey. I feel that if I hadn't joined PASA my first year, I don't know where I would be right now. What I learned my first year through PASA is that family can be found anywhere and stretches far past blood. I have met so may amazing individuals who have helped guide me to become the person I am today. Being on core my second year helped me grow so much as a leader and being Cultural Director taught me more about my culture than I could have ever hoped to learn. Thanks to PASA, I know that I can handle anything that life throws at me and that I will always have my family to support me. I am so thankful for all the experiences and lessons that I have had throughout this journey and I am excited to see what else PASA has in store for me.

I like to think of myself as an overall ate and everybody's friend! If you need a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen to you vent, or just a friend to hang out with, I'm your person :)
