Hey y’all! It’s me Maddie, Miss Treasurer! I honestly don’t know where to begin with this message because I have a lot to share about my experience on CORE. However, I want to give a huge thank you for all the love and support this year, especially to COREbabayan! As a transfer student at East Bay, I was nervous about finding a community at a new school due to COVID and slowly transitioning back to in-person. However, when I found out PASA was looking for a treasurer, I wanted to reach out and continue taking a leadership role for the organization. Reflecting on it today, I am beyond blessed to meet and collaborate with COREbabayan and all PASA members! I don’t know where I would be without them if I didn’t the first step into applying. Not only I have made strong connections professionally and socially, become a part of EMPIRE FAM, and learning more knowledge about my culture, I wouldn’t be the person that I am today without PASA. I want to give an enormous thank you to my predecessors, E-board, and my fam for guiding me through my journey in CORE. No words can describe how blessed I am to be a part of this amazing organization. PASA has taught me how to grow exponentially throughout this process and I’m sad that it is all coming to an end. To COREbabayan, WE GOT THIS **** DONE!! Thank you all for making my first year as a transfer at East Bay unforgettable and I am coming back for more years to come! This is your 50th Treasurer, signing off!
