I joined core because I was not satisfied with who I was as a person before college. Coming into college freshman year I aspired to be part of a loving community that would have taken me in as one of its own. Fast forwarding to today I am happy to say that I have found that community within PASA. Lastly, I just wanted to thank everyone in PASA for shaping me into the individual I am today because I wouldn’t be the person I am without you all. Friendship Games by far was my favorite pasa memory because I felt like I really belonged in this community. In other words, like everyone who was so kind and joyful to where I was able to feel comfortable to be myself. Overall, just being in an environment with a lot of people who just want to enjoy themselves really brought out the best in people which was awesome to see.

HII I am Arjon Guino, your Social Coordinator for PASA this year. I’m a 2nd year computer science major in BAMFam. I’ve played track and field, basketball, and football in high school, I love to longboard, and I play CSGO.

To you all, Happy New Years Everyone! I know 2020 wasn’t the year we expected but with the good spirit of our CORE & our community I know we will do our best to provide the best PASA experience we can during these times of COVID. I hope you all have a great Spring Semester and remember to take care of your mental health and physical wellbeing.

I decided to run for core because i wanted to challenge myself and do something with my life. Reposting flyers, going to meetings, and having new priorities was different to me. I wanted to grow as a person and as a leader. I know it’s a process and I’m growing, but I’m sure freshman year jacob would be proud of who I am today. I got hella favorite memories with pasa, but I would say one of them has to be going to down fullerton for friendship games. It was awesome that I was able to represent pasa and east bay alongside with my new family. Specifically, sliding at the end of our nasty run.

My name is Jacob Cayabyab and I am 1/2 of your socials this year! I’m a third year kinesiology major at csueb. Some facts about me is that I’ve gotten a concussion before, I work at tpumps and I enjoy basketball.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for continuing to support corelakas during this tough time. Without tall, there’s no pasa. You guys are the reason we continue to push to be the best we can be. Y’all inspire us and support us nonstop, and for that I would like to thank you.

Now for my encouraging words/last comments to start off the spring semester. Make. sure y’all remember to stay hydrated, sleep well, and relax. There will be times where it seems like everything sucks and you wanna give up. But remember why you are on this journey and keep in mind everything you do.

I want to challenge y’all to go out of your comfort zone and try something you’ve never done before. Yeah, you may feel a little uncomfortable at first. But hey, you only grow if you’re uncomfortable you only have one life and one body, so make the most of it and love yourself in your own skin because you ain’t getting another one.
