social coordinators 2017-2018
Regina Soratorio
For this upcoming year, I would like to expand the community between the greek & cultural organizations on campus. To help those new and general members to further experience a solid foundation between those organizations.
Joining PASA made me realize more about my Pilipinx roots because I didn't know much about it, even if I was born in the Philippines. Coming into the United States at a young age made me miss the many opportunities of learning about my culture. Experiencing the one year in PASA made me appreciate my involvement with the community and learning more about my culture. Joining PASA doesn't mean you "have" to be Filipino, we embody a lot of different race in the club. What I learned in the one year is that you become one big family (not trying to be cheesy but its true), through the year(s) you've been in it. I LOVE ME SOME FRIENDSHIP GAMES! <3
“I remember hitting up the daily newsletter because I wanted to come to PASA’s events during the Summer of 2016! That was when I was still really indecisive of joining a club/organization. Coming in as a Freshman I never realized what I was gonna get myself into. From starting off as a new player for “Nasty” and participating in Roll Call to planning Friendship Games itself, Roll call, and being a Junior Coach the next year, was something I’ll never forget! Being a Social Coordinator made me realize a lot of things, it made me a stronger leader and it made me learn how to balance everything else I have going on in my life. I will never forget the experiences and the family PASA has given me! I will continue to grow and love this organization and gain more knowledge within my Pilipinx roots. Lastly, I just wanna say that I love each and every one of you! Thank you for an amazing year. 1/2 of the Social Coordinator signing off 🇵🇭❤️”

Since I saw PASA as another family, I want to give back so I ran for Social Coordinator 17-18. And I’m striving to make this year one of the best.I want events to be inclusive and want everyone to be comfortable. Another thing is to have the new member find their strive to keep pursuing in PASA their college years because this organization has a lot to offer.
I'm a second-year health science major. Love to go on late night adventures, trying new foods, hiking, hang out with friends and listen to music. I honestly can say that I am a crazy, outgoing, funny, and I act like a big sister or mother to people sometimes. I guess some people do call me weird at the time but in a good way! My journey in PASA started when I attended the first event, which was a picnic. And from that point on I started to go to other events, which is where I saw a family I wanted to be part of. I was constantly meeting new people, which is something that I love because I tend to socialize often with new people. I can be a very talkative type of person at times.
Hi y’all!
It’s been a honor being one Social Coordinators for MaCORElit. PASA you brought me full joy starting from the picnic to present day and still for more years to come. Seeing all general members, interns, and Core at any type of event filled me with happiness because that’s PASA family bonding time right there. And I can honestly say through those up and downs PASA is my second family. All of y’all have made an impact on me! Thank you to everyone that supported me through my journey!
To MaCORElit,
We did it, a whole year together from picnic to banquet! I am truly going to miss all those late nights and seeing y’all like every week or two. We did such an amazing year, y’all we MADE hxstory! I will always remember:
