I don't have a big imagination when it comes to making flyers or apparel so I definitely want to get better at that throughout the year and just be more open minded. But I know that as long as I have my co, Karissa by my side, that we're going to be just fine!

Hi! I'm Dezzy! I am a third year at CSUEB majoring in Human Development. PASA is honestly the best thing that has ever happened to me in college. I didn't join the organization until my second year because I was very shy as a freshmen. When I finally joined, I instantly fell in love with the organization and became super active. I'm so glad I did the internship because it helped me grow so much as a person and helped me gain so much confidence to do more in PASA. It was very awesome getting to be an intern for the Kapatid Director! Shout out to ConCOREors! After the internship, I was very iffy about running for a position on core, so advice for the people who are thinking about running for a position or just joining in general, SHOOT YOUR SHOT! It's an amazing ride! I love PASA!. SHOUTS TO BOMBSQUAD AND #maCORElit cause we hella litttttt! And can't wait to kick booty this upcoming year of '17-'18!

Oh mannnn, it’s been such an honor to serve as 1/2 of PASA’s Public Relations Coordinators this past year. To maCORElit, I love each and everyone of you so much!!!! I’m so freakin proud of all the work that we did this past year tooooo!! I’m honestly going to miss working with all of you! If y’all saw me crying at banquet, it’s because my heart was breaking. but I am excited to start this new journey. To everyone that has supported me this past year, I thank you because I wouldn’t be in this position if it wasn’t for y’all. This is 1/2 of your 2017-2018 Public Relations Coordinators signing out and your 2018-2019 PASA President signing innnnn 👋🏼🇵🇭

It was an honor to serve as 1/2 of your 2017-2018 Public Relations Coordinators (and DJs, hehe s/o to Brent) for PASA this year! Thank you to everyone who has pushed me to the best of my abilities. This organization has helped me grow as a person but more importantly, has lead me to come across people that I now call family. Thank you MaCORElit for the unforgettable memories and constant motivation throughout this year. Our accomplishments reflected on all of our hard work: biggest Fall/Winter kapatid revealings, 1st place at Friendship Games, biggest Winter Formal, and everything in between! WE DID IT Y’ALL, and never forget — Ma-CORE-lit, let’s go!!

Best of luck to the 47th CORE, PASA’s definitely in good hands and I can’t wait to see you guys do great things for the organization that gives us all a sense of home. I LOVE YOU ALL 💛
Signing off,

Karissa Hortizuela
