Cultural director of logistics 2020-2021
miro san diego
I ran for CORE because I wanted to give back to a community that has always given me everything I have wanted out of my college experience. I also wanted to spread my love for PCN using my business and art skills that this position needs. It takes a really special person to be the logistic cultural and make PCN run as smooth as it can be. My favorite memory so far in PASA has to be PCN 47! This was my first PCN. I learned all about what PASA was, felt welcomed with open arms, and found a home away from home, thanks to PASA and everyone involved in PCN 47.
Well hello everyone! My name is Miro San Diego (he/him/his) and I’m PASA’s Cultural Director of Logistics this year! My job is to handle all the behind-the-scenes decisions for PCN as well as help my co-directors with anything they need help with. I’m a third year Commputer Science Major in Empire Fam, I’m a coder by day, and a performer by night. My guilty pleasures are In-N-Out.
P.S. I LOOOOVE YA!
Hi PASA! Welcome to Spring Semester!
It’s hard to believe that already started another semester/year with you all, but luckily, all of CORE still has a lot in store for all new and old members!
To those who are feeling lost or uncertain about this year, remember that you have everyone in PASA to lean on when you need help with what you’re struggling with. Also, don’t be afraid to check out all the events PASA will host this semester to de-stress! PCN events, especially will always be something you all will want to check out this semester since they will have good vibes going around that will make everyone want to jump in on that action.
Try to remember that you are loved and important, ask questions, manage your time, and lean on your support system when you can’t push yourself through life. Please remember to breathe, hydrate, relax, and pace yourself.
Have a great year and spring semester! Ingat (take care) and see you soon!

cultural director of dance 2020-2021
Jasmin alim-quenga
I ran for CORE because I love the community feeling that PASA brings and I wanted to be more involved with the organization than to just be a general member. After interning and learning more about what PASA does and what it’s like to be the Cultural Director of Dance, I sought potential in myself in being a leader again as well as potential growth while being part of CORE. My favorite PASA memory is from PCN 47. This was my first introduction into PASA, I gained many new friendships from joining through participating in PCN and I loved every part of it. I loved the feeling of performing again and was emotional when it ended because I knew that with the performances that were put on stage, everyone put their heart into it and did their best. It was about sharing and doing what we love with others. <3
Hello everyone!! My name is Jasmin but I also go by Jaz or Jazzy. I’m a 4th year biology major in BombSquad. A few things about me is that I’m a black belt in martial arts, I’m a twin, and I love snowboarding.
Don’t be afraid to try something new such as joining internship, or participating in friendship games or PCN! I know it might seem scary or you might feel anxious or nervous about it but if you don’t ever try it, you won’t know if you like it or not. Sometimes it takes a leap of faith and maybe you’ll enjoy these new experiences that’ll create amazing memories!
cultural director of acting 2020-2021
JJ. bautista
I ran for core because I wanted to give back to my community. I’ve learned so much last year being an intern under Cultural Director of Acting and there is still so much stories that is still untold for the Pilipinx-American community. I felt with this position, I felt that it will give me the opportunity to continue the legacy of PCN to tell and recognize these untold stories onto the stage. My favorite memory of PASA is just hanging out with people during PCN Season. I just love the creative environment of performing and I felt that PCN is a place where I can just be myself and have fun.
Sup, this is JJ. I’m a 4th year Liberal Studies Major minoring in Asian-American Studies. I’m in Fam De Sal and I love sushi and watching movies!
Whatever you’re passionate about and if you feel scared about it, pursue it. That’s probably a good thing and a reason to continue to pursure it honestly. And appreciate every little thing along the way of your journey.
