I want to help create an inclusive atmosphere as a CORE member. I want to make sure each and everyone feels welcomed, just as I did when I first joined. I also want to show people what PASA and CORE is all about. I want people to see how much love we have for one another and our org.
My name is Sabrina, born and raised in the bay (415x510). I am an upcoming third year and my major is Criminal Justice. I love dogs, makeup, and laughing.
If you are reading this, I love you ! You matter :).
My name is Sabrina Angeles and I WAS your cultural director of logistics. Now I am the first predecessor for my position. And i’m so excited to see what your current logistics director has in store for you all :-). My term has come to an end and I thank each and everyone of you for being apart of something greater in my life. I’m so excited for the 47th CORE to lead this organization. I believe in every single one of them. /// As i was looking for the perfect sign out picture... I came across a lot of old pictures from different PASA events. It made me sad, but i know PASA is in good hands. To all the general members and upcoming general members: believe in 47th CORE. They’re going to do so many great things for y’all
Cultural director of Dance 2017-2018
Matthew David Abenojar
Having this position on CORE, I want to teach people the wide variety of dances that the Filipino Culture has to offer. Also to teach why we do specific movements in the dance and how there is a story behind every dance we do. Lastly, to put on an amazing PCN THIS year with my other Cultural Directors. Shout out to them!!
I am a 3rd year, Business Administration Major with an option in Marketing Management. I have been in PASA for 3 years now. My firsr year in PASA, I took part in Friendship Games, the Kapatid program (BAMFam!!!!!), the internship program (Shout out to Ay COREamba), and was in PCN. My second year, I was a Jr. Coach for Friendship Games, choreographed Pagdiwata for PCN, and was an Actor/dancer for PCN as well. Moving on to my third year, I was elected to be part of CORE as your Cultural Director of Dance, and now we just have to wait for the journey that lies ahead of us. Do not be afraid to try something outside of your comfort zone, it could be very rewarding in the long run. Keep it lit y'all! Follow me on Instagram @OpenAJar.
Hi Everyone!
To formally introduce myself, my name is Matthew Abenojar and I'm the 2017-2018 Cultural Director of Dance.
I would like to start off by saying that I had an amazing year this year and I wouldn't have done it any other way. Through the ups and downs of this position, I have learned a lot about others and myself as well. I would like to thank everyone from CORE, to Interns, to the General Members, y'all have made a really big impact on me and you have changed me for the better. From the Cultural Workshops, to my Dance workshops, to PCN, all of these are the things that I have been able to work on and without the love and support that PASA has given me, I do not know how I would have been able to do these amazing things. I cannot thank everyone and PASA enough for the blessings it has given me. I will leave you with a quote that I go by. "It's kinda fun to do the impossible" - Walt Disney

With Lots of Love and Care - Matthew David Abenojar

Cultural director of acting 2017-2018
Martin Atienza
Other than having a successful PCN, I would also like to put on cultural workshops to showcase Filipino culture/history.
When I had first started college, I never anticipated myself wanting to be involved on campus. After a few weeks of me just going through the motions of school, I got bored, and looked for something to do; I found PASA. PASA was not only successful in helping me preoccupy myself, but it also kept giving me reasons to come back. College life will always be busy, and you will make the time out of your day for the things you want to prioritized, and PASA is exactly that.
Music is my favorite thing in the world, next to food.
